Founded on July 16, 1978, in Choirokoitia, Cyprus, the Pancyprian Veterinary Association (P.V.A.) serves as the scientific, professional, and trade union body representing veterinarians across Cyprus. Its mission is to promote and protect veterinary science and the veterinary profession, foster collaboration amongst members, and maintain active partnerships with international organizations.
In 2019, the Association adopted a new charter, modernizing its structure and operations while preserving its long-standing identity and commitment to the advancement of veterinary medicine in Cyprus.
The Pancyprian Veterinary Association (P.V.A.) is dedicated to promoting and safeguarding veterinary science and the veterinary profession in Cyprus. We strive to enhance the quality of veterinary services, foster communication and collaboration amongst our members, and uphold the highest standards of professional ethics.
As a dynamic and forward-looking organization, the P.V.A. works closely with national authorities and international partners to address emerging challenges in the field and to advance the role of veterinary medicine in society.
