Nektaria Ioannou Arsenoglou is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), having graduated from the Veterinary School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where she also completed postgraduate studies in Small Animal Surgery. She later moved to the United Kingdom, where she became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) and worked as a small-animal practitioner in veterinary hospitals. She subsequently returned to Greece, where she founded the Alexandroupolis Veterinary Centre. After relocating to Cyprus in 2009, she founded and has since owned MyVet Veterinary Centre in Larnaca (est. 2010). She has been actively involved in the Pancyprian Veterinary Association since 2016, serving as a Board Member, Two-Term President, and currently Vice President. For the past nine years, she has represented Cyprus at the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) and UEVP, and she also serves as a FECAVA Director. In addition, she represents Cyprus in European and international organisations, including the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). She has a special interest in feline medicine and is currently undertaking the CVE (University of Sydney) / iCatCare Feline Medicine Distance Education Course, with the aim of pursuing the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) – Medicine of Cats qualification.
